1. How you felt the very first day of high school:

How did I feel that very first day? Idrk, I guess it was the typical nervous, but excited, anxious, but calm, and missing my friends from middle school, but ready to meet new ones at the same time kinda feeling.  I knew a few kids going to HTHS from middle school, one of whom was one of my best friends, Cathy; another was on my travel baseball team for a couple years, Tyler; then there was Zach who was in AT with me; along with Vinny who was one of my closer friends ever since the 4th grade; and a few others that I knew from other friends and other kids from my town.  At the end of the first day I had already met a few chill kids and they basically managed to stay my closest friends for all of high school. So, I’d say for the most part my first day of school was pretty good. A couple of my other friends who went to other high schools hated their first day, but I was relatively satisfied and happy that chose High Tech at the time. :)

The challenge

So I’ve clearly been slacking on the Fifteen Day High School Challenge…

mainly because I was in California/didn’t go on tumblr for the past week; so, I’ll make up for the ones I missed and finish them by the end of today :)

This Memorial Day, we took a look back at how the U.S. soldier has evolved over the years. Did you know camouflage wasn’t introduced until the end of World War II?

Being yourself is way more important then being who people want you to be.
